About Little Chicken

Since our hatching in 2001 Little Chicken has been creating games and applications in Virtools at a steady pace of about five projects per year. Now at the fall of 2006, hosting a catalogue of over 25 games, we're confident to say that we're one of the most experienced Virtools game developers in the world. Our games are targeted at various audiences, mostly in an educational or branding context, but always with a focus on entertainment.

Thanks to Virtools technology we create games with an authentic Xbox/PlayStation feeling, but on a scale appropriate for midsize budgets.

Our clients range from international advertisement agencies to the brands themselves, publishers, and anything in between. All of the game-concepts are created in-house as well as most of the assets such as designs, models, animations and game code. We've created realistic driving-physics, a "ghost" module, extensive database integration and level-editors. Our concepts vary from straight-up racing, action sports, social engineering, adventures to skill based games.

Our Virtools Games:

• Vredestein Trac Challenge
  Trac Challenge is a race game to promote the Vredestein brand. The game features multiple tracks with different characteristics for different tyres. The game uses the "ghost" system allowing you to challenge your friends by sending them your recorded race.
• Sportlife Artic Games
  The Artic Games are the championships of extreme sports such as "Icescape Turling", "Ice Kayak" and "Icehole Hurdle". These games were created for the Dutch chewing gum brand Sportlife. The three different games offer a next gen look & feel, very distinct gameplay and the possibility to send ghosts.
• Shell V-power Race Game
  The Shell V-power Race Game is an example of one of our licence-games: custom models and interface implemented on an existing race game engine and ghost module.
• Kooiboys
  Kooiboys is an adventure game to promote theatre amongst children. In this game the player has to help the Kooi brothers to realize their dream of buying a race car.
• Jungle Jumper
  Jungle Jumper is a highly accessible and skill-based game created for a Dutch indoor playground enterprise called Chimpie Champ.
• Brand! the game
  "Fire!" the game is an educational title to create fire-hazard awareness amongst kids. The game was created for a national campaign of the Dutch consumer safety organization.
