The recent partnership between Virtools and C3I Inc is aimed at offering innovative integrated solutions to clients for training, simulation and visualization projects deployed on immersive systems. As a first example of this successful collaboration, Honeywell FM&T turned to Virtools technology for an internal training project on their immersive system. "Virtools not only supports standard gaming devices, but also high end trackers, power walls and HMDs on a PC clusters. It's been a week since we received our software and we have a cluster up and running on 4 displays and a HMD" says Bob Owens – Staff Engineer Honeywell FM&T, who previously used C-based immersion software on Unix clusters.
