Virtools and Barco announce their intention to form a partnership to provide integrated solutions for Virtual Reality The goal of the partnership is to provide robust development solutions
that merge solid technical infrastructure and powerful interactive
3D authoring tools. Virtools publishes a suite of software solutions used to create interactive 3D applications for simulation/virtual reality, as well as video games and marketing/multimedia. With Virtools, developers can pilot the displays and peripherals needed to build immersive environments, to bring rich interactivity to virtual reality. With the partnership, Virtools intends to provide optimal support for the peripherals and immersive displays that have made Barco a longstanding leader in the field.
