A virtual trip inside the body with Space & Dream"Inside the body", the virtual trip inside the human body created by Space & Dream using Virtools technology, will be presented at the Montreal Science Center, in the new Imagine exhibit, until 2015. The voyage begins by introducing the visitor in a patient's eye. He is then transported through the patient's body until reaching the heart, which stops beating at that point. Brand New Virtools Class at the Savannah College of Art and Design.The Savannah College of Arts and Design (SCAD) has just launched a Scripting for Games class. With this first Virtools class we welcome SCAD to our community of Virtools teaching colleges. SCAD has also just organized the fourth annual Game Developers eXchange (GDX), sponsored by Virtools. With about 350 attendees, the event provided educators, students and game development experts the opportunity to learn and share about the game industry, thanks to the different panels, discussions and workshops. |

Back From Laval Virtual, April 9-11 at Laval, FranceAgain this year, Laval Virtual was the right place to be to discover the latest in Virtual Reality and experience Virtools cutting-edge technology. Many applications made with Virtools were presented on our partners’ booth (find them in our made with Virtools map. On Virtools/3DVIA booth, visitors had the chance to discover Visiosim, which aims at making people aware of how Low Vision can affect everyday’s life. This application, developed by Evelyne Klinger and her partners (The Institut des Hauts Thébaudières de Vertou and the Ecole Supérieure de Création Interactive Numérique of Laval) with Dassault Systèmes' Passion For Innovation Program, will be soon available online. Also, more than a hundred people took part into the V+R challenge to support Philippe Fuchs and Sport Without Bundaries. Every participant created its own 3D avatar and run a virtual kilometer, for each of which Dassault Systemes will be giving a Euro to the humanitarian association Sports Without Bundaries (you too, participate to the challenge). Virtools is also very proud to acknowledge the 6 applications among the winners of the professional and student competitions that were made with Virtools: Students Awards:
