Thanks for coming to see us at SIGGRAPH 2005, the world's largest marketplace for computer graphics and interactive technology. We were thrilled to demonstrate the new feature of the latest release of our flagship product, Virtools Dev 3.5.

This new release offers a broad spectrum of new features geared towards wider compatibility and optimized support for external technologies and formats, along with enhanced control over the rendering pipeline. The release of Virtools Dev 3.5 bolsters Virtools' position in the video games market, for prototyping and full production, as well as in the VR/Simulation market as a provider of solutions for both large-scale and immersive deployment.

Siggraph was a great opportunity to showcase a wide variety of applications Made with Virtools. Among these applications, Dassault Systèmes' groundbreaking vision for 3D and the role of Virtools' technology to bring objects to life was illustrated by the demo Model Life. By applying interactive behaviors to objects, you can experience what you mean. This demo was the first step to showcase the interaction between DS and Virtools from the recent acquisition of Virtools by Dassault Systemes.

Siggraph attendees also had a chance to test a proof of concept demo with augmented reality that highlights new Virtools Dev 3.5 video engine technology. Participants won great prices: HP iPAQ, Virtools t-shirts, iPod shuffle, NVIDIA Quadro FX boards and more!

Virtools development and deployment solutions was also highlighted at its partners' booths: Barco (booth #1936) showcased several powered-by-Virtools immersive demos; INRIA (booth #1358) showcased PSA Peugeot Citroën's new 1007 mock-up using the CAT, a revolutionary navigation device developed by Virtools' VAR, Immersion SA, and INRIA.
