You are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 (or later):
- From the Tools menu, choose Internet Options.
- Select the Connections tab, and click LAN Settings....
If the Use automatic configuration script check box is selected,
you are most probably using a proxy server, and the Virtools Web Player
may not be able to get your configuration automatically. Contact your
network administrator for further help.
If the Use a proxy server (for your LAN - the exact
wording depends on your version of Internet Explorer) check box is
selected, you are using a proxy server. Normally the Virtools Web
Player can automatically get the settings it needs. If it cannot,
you will have to note the settings in Internet Explorer and manually
enter these in the Virtools Web Player.
- Click Advanced.... to open the Proxy Settings dialog
box.
- If either the HTTP or Socks fields are filled, copy
the details and go to How can I configure Virtools
Web Player to use my firewall/proxy server?
