Challenge: Create a More Dynamic and Effective Sales Presentation

An internationally recognized financial and banking institution needed to present its complex financial data and services in a more dynamic and effective manner than the hum-drum every-day slideshow. This new presentation sales tool needed to be interactive, instinctive to use, engage the viewer and present the most up-to-date information available.

Using dynamic data, this presentation system is currently used by the client as a sales support tool presented on laptop computers, but will be incorporated into the client's extranet in the near future.


Solution: Hybrid Architecture to Work With Existing Data

The Virtools Behavior Lab created an interactive 3D sales support system by developing the editor/viewer capable of reading data from financial databases and presenting it in an instinctive 3D environment. This application presents up-to-the-minute financial information with dynamic curves, graphs, bar and pie charts. The Virtools Behavior Lab used Virtools Dev 2.0 to develop the application quickly and efficiently.

Virtools Dev 2.0's power and flexibility let the Virtools Behavior Lab work in a streamlined process with the client, and allowed the project to adapt to changing specifications, thanks to regular project reviews around a working prototype. The 3 person team (1 graphic artist, 1 virtools developer and a project manager) completed the application in less than six months.

With its dynamic data, the sales tool can now present much more up-to-the-minute information onscreen simultaneously, to allow a more efficient comparison between the client's various service solutions.
