Road to India Action/Adventure Game 
MicroidsFounded in 1985 by its current President Elliot Grassiano, MICROïDS is a French company that has been developing, editing and distributing video games for the last 15 years. Initially known as a developement house, the company chose to expand into publishing and distribution in 1995. Since then, the company's turnover has increased spectacularly. Microids published its first interactive 3D blockbuster, Fort Boyard Millenium with Virtools Dev 1.0.1.  Challenge:
Bring a Sucessful Game Series into Interactive 3DFresh off the heels of Fort Boyard's success, Microids knew that it already had a strong, streamlined development process in place, thanks to Virtools Dev. Next, Microids wanted to capitalize on its astonishing real-time 3D graphics capabilities with an epic adventure game. Road to India puts the player in the shoes of a young university student on his first visit to India. Solution: Behavior Technology and User-Friendly Development Platform for Cost-efficient, Rapid Production  Virtools Dev 2.0, with its real-time 3D rendering engine, behavior technology and user-friendly development platform allowed Road to India to be completed in only 10 months, reducing Microids' development costs. With the smooth production process inherent in Virtools software solutions, Microids development team could focus on what really matters: game design. The 30 person production team was comprised primarly with graphic artsists. Three programmers and one game designer rounded out the production team.
