Virtools Service Pack 2 now available
Virtools 4 Service Pack 2 has just been released with fixes and additional features:
- GPU shader on Mac OS X players through OpenGL and CGFX
- A new editor in Virtools to explore XML trees and a new contextual menu for simply updating scripts from files
- Support for COLLADA 1.4.1
- Documentation of new "best practices" for 3D XML-based workflow from V5 to Virtools
- Support for new VR Devices besides Vrpn through "VR Addons": Immersion CyberGlove, Vicon RT and Ascension WinBird.
- Major update of the VRNR (ready to use and to customize VR resources) so as to better support head mounted displays (HMD) and simply use Holostage-like displays, while transparently integrating VR Addons.

Developed by our Authorized Game Developer Leviathan Games, this brand new advergame, called "Gillette Young Guns 3D Racing Challenge" offers a very complete racing experience, with different tracks, several playing modes (practice, time attack and race against AI opponents). Note that several levels of quality are offered to the player, which allows taking advantage of advanced visual effects for recent PCs. This game is only available online (in the web browser).

NanoMission™ is a cutting edge gaming experience which educates players about basic concepts in nanoscience through real world practical applications from microelectronics to drug delivery.
