RealiCon GmbH: 3D For All Forum, September 27-28, 2006, Heppenheim, Germany

Specialized in CAD and Virtual Reality, our partner RealiCon was organizing a special event entitled "3D For All and 4D Communication Forum" in Heppenheim, Germany, on the September 27-28.

Thales Training and Simulation application

Thales is using Virtools technology to create a 3D mock-up tool that recreates operations in critical urban zones for public security purposes. This application, 3Dchrono, is used as part of the operational program at fire departments, military/defense organizations, Special Forces, etc.

 


Lily et le Géant awarded by renowned SACD (French Society of Authors)

Congratulations to the creators of Lily et le Géant, whose adventure game made with Virtools was given an award by the SACD (French society of authors). The game designers won a trip to Siggraph to show their work to the 3D community. The game teams up Lily, a little girl whose goal is to help adults steer clear of a long-lost giant that has reappeared to maintain their peaceful lifestyle.

Horseback riding with time to ride

Experience horseback riding with Time to Ride: Saddles and Stables

Designed by Art Plant, published by Pan Vision and distributed by Dreamcatcher Interactive, Time to Ride: Saddles and Stable is a horseback riding game developed with Virtools technologies. Amanda, a young city girl, has moved with her family to a farm nestled in the vast countryside. To cheer her up, her father promises her a new friend… her very own horse! Experience all the thrills and excitement of training, caring for and racing a trusty steed.

Virtools User Day: a success!

For the first time in Europe, Virtools/Dassault Systèmes organized a Virtools User Day focused on VR, in coordination with key partner Clarté. The event was very successful and represented an in-depth learning session on Virtools technology. Attendees got a chance to see success stories by our clients PSA, DCN, Nautilus and Bordeaux 5 University, and to interact with impressive demos in the SAS3 and reality center
